I made 4 of these to give away as gifts at work. Nothing says give me more work quite like a handmade gift. LOL. Made from pallet wood and finished with danish oil. They’re about 4" tall by 5" long. The dowels aren’t necessary at all but they make it appear stronger. Too bad for the tear out at the dowels. Next time I’ll clamp some scrap to the backside. I bought a small flush cut saw today at harbor freight and it works great. It cut very very close to flush without marring the sides. Put one in the win column for harbor freight.
