Monkey Pod Tri-cornered Bowl

A woodworking buddy gifted me an odd shaped, but beautiful piece of Monkey Pod from Hawaii. After some study and agonizing, I figured out a way to get the most out of it……a three cornered bowl.
The bowl is about 8 inches on each side and about 2 inches tall. The bowl portion stands proud of the top by a quarter inch, and the foot is covered with soft leather. The wood is sanded to 220 and finished with Minwax satin poly.
