The profile picture is my favorite fishing spot , a backwater of the Mississippi River near my home, where I fly fish for bluegills, bass and crappies.
I am a retired middle school teacher, grandpa, and married to a great lady for 56 years. I have always liked working with wood, but since I retired 21 years ago, I have been more involved. I love fishing, golf, gardening and cooking, but mostly spoiling my two grandsons. I enjoy doing woodworking projects that allow me to repurpose wood that would otherwise end up in the fire or landfill....hence my penchant for doing small boxes, etc.
