"Anything" Box

I enjoy making small boxes that can be used for a variety of things. A friend gave me a veneer slice of Olive Elm Burl that I had tucked away and nearly forgotten. I glued it to piece of 1/4 inch Baltic Birch plywood, and with some thin strips of walnut created this little number……About 6×8 inches, with a lid hinged with hidden pins. Veneer is book-matched, and the bottom is lined with pigskin suede.
