Crocheted Frog Hat

I started out thinking about another owl hat (basic hat made yesterday)
but this morning .. .well, I ended up going for a frog!

Perhaps next time I’ll change the eyes so that they aren’t “you have eyes in the back of your head” (the green doesn’t hide the white/black on the backside)
.. but I kind of like the double look.

Eyes

• chain 6
• with black: sc; hdc; dc; hdc; sc, using white to finish off the last sc
• with white: 2sc in each stitch, using green to finish off the last sc
• with green: 2sc in each stitch; turn; decrease each of the double sc, back across and finish off.
• secure to hat, along centre line.
