Hello Ian, I going to use a wax finish on it.. Cedar is a tough wood to seal.. A wax finish is the best

Looks great. In fact it is exactly what my wife wants me to build. She also wants 8 chairs to go with it. The cedar must fill the room with a beautiful scent. You did a great job. How long is it?
