1959 Cadillac Eldorado, in 1/32 scale: About 8 inches longs. ALL wood. Although I didn’t design it, this was not a kit. I scratch made every part, including the gas and brake pedals under the dash. A plastic kit was used to pattern it off of.
The colors are all the natural color of the wood. The Red is Padauk, the “White” is Maple, the black tires are Ebony and the chassis and running gear are Walnut. I don’t recall what I made the grill and bumpers from. The only thing that’s not wood, is the clear coat. I didn’t even put a windshield in it, so it would be all wood.
A friend of mine challenged me, in 1984 and I completed the Caddy in 1985. Has been in my glass case all these years. Only car I’ve done, in this much detail.

Very nicely done project Keith. Great attention to detail and it looks very authentic.
I arrived at my wedding in my best man’s 1959 Cadillac two door hardtop convertible. I also heard a story from my wife’s aunt; Some friends of their’s had bought a new 1959 Cadillac and they were taking my wife’s aunt and uncle to Los Vegas for the weekend. the only problem with it was that it was a dark pink color and the uncle didn’t want to be seen in it. To top off the story, they ran into a sand storm on their way and the paint was sandblasted off one side of the car!

very cool!
This is far more than just a wooden toy car. What a masterpiece. The time you spent on the details really shows. Great skills, i am looking forward to seeing more of your creations. Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing.
