TIPS .. keeping gifts a secret

If I build a gift for my wife I have to do it in the middle of winter.Usually she won’t make the long 50’ journey to the shop.need to be working on 2 projects so I can report some progress on what I’ve been working on.

I can’t keep any secret from my wife. She make the short trip to the shop (attached garage) at least 10 times a day. It’s a pleasure to see her every time.
Sometime I pretend to be annoyed and I blame all the mistakes of the day on that small disturbance-:)

My shop is in a detached garage on a separate property ~1000ft up the road from our house so especially in winter my wife doesn’t wander up too often.
