With finally moving up from the Stone Age and purchasing a new table saw, my old bench/saw is available to anyone that wants it for free. It has a 10" skillsaw table saw built in. It is 4’ wide, 6’ long and 37" high. It is made from 2×4 s and plywood. It has a bottom shelf, and recess for a compound powered mitre saw, and a recess for a router. It is fairly heavy, 200lbs plus. Anyone wanting a bench with saw built in can have it.

Congrats! What saw are you getting?

I bought a Rigid from Home Depot as the price was right, a friend / old military buddy works there. Couldn’t pass the offer up.

The saw is 1mm higher than the Roubo, so the Roubo can be an out feed table, nice! The old bench comes with an 80 tooth Vermont American blade, and 2 powerbars. I would be willing to deliver if its not too far, just supply the bodies to load it on my truck as the boys are all out west in Alberta now.

Here is the bench that’s free to a good home…

My old bench has found a new home! My PTSD therapist has a client (woman) that is starting woodworking as a therapy. On Sunday she has 4 guys coming to pick it up. Yay, it is going to a great place and will help someone, and won’t have to become firewood. Now I just have to take my CPMS off the top, and empty the shelf of power tools. Thanks to all that looked!

That’s really great that it’s going to someone that will really appreciate it. Good job on that one.

Well a very nice lady came to pick up the old bench today. It’s great that the saw is going to be used by someone just starting out. She may be joining the site to get some tips.
