Some photos of my chevalet demos at the Sooke Fine Art Show on Saturday. There was lots of interest and several people took course outlines and registration forms for my new marquetry courses. I’m building four new chevalets to allow me to have five students per class. You can watch the progress in this blog.

It was great fun to meet new people and introduce them to this wonderful old tool and the work it is able to do.

The early bird gets the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.

Great
You got a good start of lining up some students and I am sure it will grow from here .Taking the chevalet to the show is a great idea giving interest party’s a first hand experience not just a look at some samples of your work to admire .
