What was the first thing that you were ever asked to build for someone?

oh geez debbie your really testing my memory here. id say it was some book selves i made for my grandmother way back when i was about 14 +- i think !

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

I think it was a box for my mom. 🤣😂

The early bird gets the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.

A couple of tabletop Podium Stands the Church, with a slanted top and a rest at the bottom of the slope.

Wood box for firewood so my husband didn't have to go out in the cold at night when we were using our fireplace. 

Nice Barb, a good fire box is a must when using a fireplace. I remember growing up, I had to stack logs at the back door. So when we brought them in, had to sit them next to the fireplace to melt the snow.

thank you brian i had forgot. i built a clubhouse on top of my dads sawhorses he used to sit our camper on when i was about 10. the sad day came when dad needed to take the camper off the truck !!!! it wasn't long and i built a new one.

I think I built a shoe rack for my dorm room in school. I’m pretty sure it was three pieces of MDF nailed together and lasted less than a week…

As a young lad made a lot of things for myself or tried to make them long before anyone ever ask me to make something for them.
