Wow! Been a while since I’ve posted. Not sure how long, but it’s been a while.
It got hot, here in South Central Texas. That and my up and down energy level, have kept me out of the shop. Me tearing my right Rotator Cuff didn’t help either. :-(
First coolish morning in Sept, I took off on a 200+ mile ride, down near the coast. Get home safe and sound, only to lose my balance while pulling off my jeans, and falling, right arm first, against the gun safe. A tearing/burning sensation in my right soldier signaled something wasn’t right.
Turns out I have one complete tear, and a partial. Surprisingly, the surgeon says surgery is not necessary. Really???? You don’t want the money? Nope, I’m in intensive rehabilitation. Since I don’t need to throw a baseball, or football, I don’t have to have surgery to ride a motorcycle, drive vintage cars, and wood work. We’ll see.
So far, so good.
I’ll keep y’all posted. Got a few things in the works and need to get back to them.
All the best, Shin

Yeah i finished up my brother in laws cooler cart and i haven’t been in my shop either. I ended up getting very sick again and had to have a inhouse nuse for 6 weeks. And now im heading in to get my first knee replacement then in 4 months getting the other one done. So i basicly closed the shop till i can get through this. Another member on here Steve Tow is doing badly. Hes been in the hospital for almost 4 weeks now. He ended up getting a flesh eating bacteria that has eaten different areas of his lower extremities. Thats all i know for now. Take care

Man, hate to hear about the others. Hope y’all are better soon. Thanks for the kind words. A1Jim, you said something that I’d probably said to someone else, if it happened to them.
Shoulder is better. Turns out, no surgery. Surgeon says, since I don’t need the arm to pitch or throw footballs, that I can get by with Rehab. It’s working. Pain is almost gone. Got most of my strength back, AND I’m back on the Motorcycle.
Doing a little work in the shop, but right now, it’s for the greenhouse.
Have some wood that I need to get back to, so once I finish the greenhouse shade cloth drapes, then it’s back to wood working.
All the best!
Happy Wooding!
