Someone gave us this walnut burl last week – it definitely has potential.

This is a piece of maple burl that was just one of a stack of beautiful pieces given to me from a perfect stranger I met at a local art festival. He uses the live ends off the slabs he buys and asked me if I would please come and take the unused parts away. I was happy to oblige him.

This is a piece of burled Honey Mesquite. I just sprayed it with water and took this shot. The whole tree is like this. Nature is pretty amazing. Thanks for letting me show a piece of it.
