I've got a lot to learn about turning. The last time I had any instruction was in wood shop class back in jr high school. I'm retired now, so you can do the math - it's been a while. Armed with my wealth of knowledge, I managed to get a little cocobolo knob turned for the rotary dimmer.
At least it's a step up from plastic.
Just sanded through 1000 grit. Over time, the cocobolo should oxidize to a fiery orange and match the cherry a little better.
It's kind of rudimentary as far as knobs go, but it will do.
