This is part 1 in a 1 part series: Hand Tools

  1. Flea Market Acquisitions

Today, I did good. I found a Millers-Falls Brace almost brand-new and a little hand-crank drill. I also found three tiny carving tools from E.C. Muller in Nevada. My final treasure finds were a 9" Starrett machinist’s scale and a Goodell Pratt 6" scale. The little scale is at least 83 years old. Goodell-Pratt was taken over by Millers-Falls in 1931. I had fun and I got some good finds.

They look almost new.

Did you get a good deal?

Abbas, Castro Valley, CA

Sure did. The brace was $25. The crank-drill was $9. The little carving tools were $10. And, the rulers were $2.

That’s a great deal!
