This is a cribbage board built from 150 yr old cedar that cam from the staves a pickle vat. It is 1 1/2" x 6 1/4" x 13" and finished with semi gloss enamel. the back side shows the black stain from the pickling brine and the slot to release the drawer. the are 4 magnets that hod the drawer in so it won't fall out while handling the board. The top was fractal burned and painted with turquoise pant before drilling and finishing.

Very pretty. I love the turquoise in it too! Nicely done.

150 year old pickle vat…I feel like they made a movie about that! 😆

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Very Cool Jim, the fractural burn is neat, and I like the color. Haven't played cribbage for a long time, fun game and fast.

Good looking. Never played the game in my life, I actually don't think I know anyone that does.   Mike
Hi Mike. I was taught how to play it but the guy went so fast that I never got a handle on the scoring. And they way they played , if you missed some count and the opponents was it, they got the points. I'll stick to hand and foot!

Real nice looking board Jim. The Turquoise painted in the fractal burning really stands out
Hi Danny. Thanks.  I thought I had to do it because that cedar is pretty blah by itself.
