Looks pretty real.    Nice work.   Love to hear more on the construction etc.

👍.🦆...

Hmmm... Without the feathers it would have been "blue"....

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Excellent work, as always! 12 gauge plate!? My hands can't take that kind of effort anymore.

Awesome!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Thanks everyone! @Dark, the trick it get it hot although since I picked up a fly press I'm able do a lot cold. @Ron, if you look me up on FB, I have process photos there in an album. I usually build the body from 12g but this time I tried a different technique. I used 1/4 round bar and made an armature. I did this in attempt to get the finish to flow in and around each feather as they are layered. When finishing this one, I dipped it a few times then hung it up and baby sat it for about 3 hours to remove any drips. I then sprayed it with a top cop coat. All finishes are automotive
