Small Lathe Projects
Decided to play with the lathe again. Ruth Niles bottle opener with Ash handle. The three bottle stopper handles are Bubinga, Bocote and Padauk. Bottle stopper on the right has a Birds Eye Maple handle. Ice cream Paddle has a Hubaballi handle. All handles have a threaded metal insert to make it better to take apart for cleaning etc.

Bloody futile to follow suit...
Always been fascinated by those RN openers... wish they made them for casks. Stoppers also not needed for casks and I just bough a soft serve ice-cream maker that makes the scoop work like a ladle/spoon.
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
