Chess Table, Chairs & Pieces

I've been slowly posting some pictures of my work from my past. This set I made 25 years ago. Time really does fly by. When I completed this set for myself, I was lucky that a couple of new customers purchased two tables. At that time it was the high light of my life, I was so excited. Thank you for looking!

Amazing build.  The chessmen look classy.

Very cool! The feature of black/white sides in the game being carried out to the feet go the chairs is awesome.

If your customer bought two tables, were you able to make one light, one dark, saw them in two and glue the opposites together? (Just had to ask! 😀)
as pottz says a royal game built for royal people on a very royal table GR8 JOB MASTER  😍😍😎😎👍👍

I agree with 987Ron: "Excellent.  Not  much else to say, outstanding work."  I am amazed at the quality of the details, especially the inlays and the carvings. Superb.
Astounding work.

Love the knight-feet best among the chess embellishments to the furniture.
The queen & bishops blend in well, and I nearly missed the king.
At a loss for words,  That is amazing..
Wow! It is always a treat to see your work Dennis.

My son has been asking for a chess board. I'm not sure I want him to see this. 😁
Very much a Zongker piece!!  Gothic ,The Adams Family, and Carlo Bugatti all come to mind!
Another incredible piece of art you have created.
