Finally finished with this Art Deco style Music Box. It has a 72 note musical movement the two woods are Ebony and Holly veneers and hardwoods. I designed this box to fit into the Art Deco time period between 1919 to 1939. Thank you very much for looking.

This is pretty special Dennis. The techniques of making the interlaid parts is difficult enough but the precision to make them balance and match perfectly is really impressive. I think if I was shown this box elsewhere I could guess who built it. There’s a lot of “Dennis” in it.
You are an artist, no question about it.

That’s nice Dennis. Love how you made that accordion type design on the sides  of the box.

Really awesome. I love the details and attention put into this. As a side note, your box book was one of my inspirations to start woodworking (the complexity and marquetry captured my attention).
