Bracelet Display Rack

This is a carry over from Lumberjocks and was built some years earlier.
I had a show to do and I needed a bracelet display rack so I did not have to spread them out all over a table. I wanted it to look better than K mart so I decided to go with a yin / yang style using walnut and box elder. I have thought about this for weeks and made a dozen drawings of different racks that just did not look right.
I have made a couple of oval shaped handles before and thought that might work good for the rack if I could turn two ovals. I laid up all the pieces and turned them on 3 centers to make the ovals. The ovals are mounted at 30 degrees off the horizontal. I decided that one is each color could be used to highlight different woods better than both the same.
It is finished with semi gloss Deft lacquer

I added picture of the rack from 3 angles , full of bracelets ,disassembled and a the last shot are the cut off ends with the 3 centers I used to make the ovals. It worked pretty slick.

Very nice Jim, the two toned woods look great together.

Really like the wood combination on this Jim, and the fact you used a multi-axis turning. I still need to try that some day. Well done.
