Ulu Knife Cutting Board and Holder

This is the follow up to making the handle for my Ulu knife. I made this cutting board from curly maple and walnut scraps from a previous project. I cut the curve of the board to match the curve of the blade.

The hole in the back is so you can pick the two pieces up as a unit.

It is finished with Walrus Oil Cutting Board Wax..................................Cheers, Jim

The knife and the board sure go together well.   Bet it works good also.

Nice design Jim. I first thought the hole in the back was for sliding carrots through!
Very nice design for using and storage, and the choice of woods adds a great appearance.
You always come up with a clever design to make things easier. Well done as always
Thank you all for the nice comments,It is the best it will ever look. That knife is real sharp and will decorate the cutting board a  lot!!

JJ, love the look and the build... but where the hell would one user it... since the Aztecs were rendered (bloody plasterers... and alcohol [think about it] ) extinct.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Sweet man sweet a great combo build.

That is a fabulous bord Jim, and pairs very well with the Ulu knife. Well done.
