Salt & Pepper Shaker Improvement

Some time ago I posted the original set of S&P shakers (on a different site) and got many comments about how I should have made them or what I should have done.  I'm sure most of you enjoy those types of comments as much as I do.  Anyway, I always wanted to make another set that the contents were a little easier to distinguish.  The first set the bodies were Walnut and the 2nd set the bodies are Cherry.

Beauties!
I prefer the set on the right just based on the salt/pepper inlay and the propensity for me to always grab the opposite of what I want 🙂
LOL, Thanks Splinter!  The shaker tops are inserts (left set) and one has 3 holes and the other has 4 holes but I guess that is not enough of a difference for some people to identify which is which.

Wife bought us a set of white ceramic shakers. The holes are different, but one has bird glyphs and the other has fish.
I have to think fish=sea ergo salt water, ergo salt!

Too much thinking involved.
Very nice! The inlay colors should remove any confusion😀
those are real nice bud.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Nicely done! I love the outcome of turning the knots. 👍🏼

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Excellent!

I have a kit and tools somewhere to make a set.  Really like the Celtic knots.

Thanks Ryan and petey, I appreciate it.

I think they look good.   Like both sets.   The Celtic influence is nice.   Well done

Ron

I can't say anything about how you should or should not make these because they are currently better than anything I could do, nice work.
Thank you Corelz
