Snowman advent candlestick

It is time for advent candlesticks here in Sweden and I wanted to make my own variant of a snowman candlestick that I have seen on the interwebs. I thought that it would be a nice project to practice some turning and woodworking in general. My version is somewhat "pimped" compared to the original. I gutted an old scrapped candlestick for the desirable electrical parts which were transplanted to the new candlestick. The base is a piece of massive birch with attached figurines (turned from birch firewood) that have been painted white.
I then bought some matching warm white LED bulbs.
Very cute and creative.  Nice reuse of the electrical components.  I like where you located the lights.
Nice work dgom.
Thanks for sharing.

Figuring out how to do something you have never done is what makes a good challenge.

Excellent! Whimsical and perfect for a mantle or facing out the window. 👍
Nicely done!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

very cool.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

That’s a great Christmas project. Also, really like the bulb locations.
Thanks for the nice comments!
