A small project made from a whiskey barrel stave.
I have had this stave laying around for a year and decided to do something creative.
Some veneer inlays and Japanese inspired legs.
And here we are. Quite happy with them both.

You figured out a fine way to use those curved staves!. I think the wood from barrels looks great with the character, but always difficult thinking of ways to use them without needing to machine/sand and destroy the "look".

I agree. Looks great. I have a few staves I picked up because of the wood character. Could never figure out how to use them and preserve the look. Now I know. Great project great share.
