Tapering / Jointer Jig for tablesaw
Here's a Tapering jig I designed and built for doing tapered table legs on my table saw. BUT!!..... it also can be used as a jointer and squaring up work pieces. There is much it can do!

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.
They come in useful if you work with rough stock, or make a lot of tapers. Sometimes mine hardly gets a break, other times it sits all lonely, nothing to do.
That's true but it's invaluable.
I have a joiner for rough stock that needs a straight edge, but I hate using it.
The jig on the TS is so much easier and 99% of the time I don't even consider using the "other" machine.

I don't own a jointer. I'm sure it could be argued but there are other ways to joint wood well and this jig and tablesaw is one. However, I mainly do hand tools and usually joint with a jack plane and an edge plane.

I'm retired. And as I grow older there's two things I don't miss in my shop: Noise and Dust.

Just wanted to share this Tapering / Jointer Jig for my tablesaw again. Invaluable for many projects. Useful for anything you need to angle or taper. Also useful as a jointer.
