My Foyer Table

Here's a table I made for my foyer next to front door.  It has tapered legs and a small drawer. Finished with a General Finishes Java dye stain and top coated with their high performance water based polyurethane.

Love the finish, photo looks almost like a jet black lacquer. A little of that Java goes a long way!

What wood? (guessing poplar)
Believe it not..... it's quarter sawn pine.
Yeah, I agree. More pics! And more build pics! But that’s a really nice table…

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Per the feedback... three more photos added. 🙂
Looking all Ebonized in it's snazzy Tuxedo Black. Nice build.
Thanks GeorgeWest. That Java is a very deep rich dark brown.
I'll join the crowd in complimenting the finish. Looks like a great build.
I have never used any Java dye stain but that is beautiful, along with a great build, perfect.

Thank you Jack! General Finishes makes great product. They're pricey but it goes a long way and worth it.
