Taking Flight 2.0
I just noticed that I hadn't posted this piece before. It's been on the public art circuit here in BC and has been leased for 1-2 years by: Nanaimo, Victoria, Castlegar and Nelson.

I forgot to mention... this is over 9' tall and the biggest butterfly is around 5'... looks cool when I drive it around in my truck! haha

Thanks for the addition. Looking at the pics, especially the last one it looked huge. Would that be considered a statue? I know I would call it really cool yard art. Nice work.

I just call it a public art/ yard piece. A statue is defined as a realistic portrayal of a person or animal. These are stylized insects... close enough!
