I made this dovetailed pine box for some Narex Chisels I have and finished it with a Japanese wood burning technique called " Shou Sugi Ban".
The finish is a stunning controlled burning technique that yields beautiful results!!

Never thought about doing shou sugi ban on a small scale. Nice look and nice build

Thanks guys. It's a beautiful technique. Much can be done with it but you wouldn't want it on everything. Testing it on the side is advised so you can see if it's a go or not for where you want to use it.
