had a trellis with a climbing rose that was slowly dying soi decided time for a change. plus the trellis was rotted and falling apart. this was a simple 3 hour project including planting the new star jasmine. i had some ipe left from the patio table so thats what was used. should out live me. no finish just gonna let it weather to silver. 4ft wide by 6ft tall. gardening and woodworking go quite well together.

The ipe will be there for the future generations👍
Nice job! We've got Star Jasmine started on our trellis as well. It's their 2nd year and they are starting to take off.

I like trellised vines. We’ve got several different renditions in our yard. Some do well, some don’t. They end of tearing down the trellises at some point if I don’t keep them well trimmed. Nicely done.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

thanks bud !

"E" for Effort... for drilling into brick...

that was slowly dying soi decided

Probably dying because the soil was missing that mandatory ingredient of "L"... I'd have let it die.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

oh duckie you give in too soon ! a true gardener  never gives up until it's brown and dry as hell  🤣

I won't give in, but I will concede that I "may need" to do some weeding,
Bloody weeds are invading/taking-over my sawdust offload patch,

You'll have fun Ducky!
Sitting on your lawn mower, sipping a cask, and pondering Pottzy's crack as he goes full plumber-under-the-sink while squatting and pulling weeds.

Invite the neighbors and grill some shrimp!
