Tiger 1

A long time ago when the Duck was still a chick, he asked to make a german Tiger 1 tank from WW2. It wasn't my favorite but I couldn't refuse LBD's request in the end. Without Alex's meticulous control work, it was the least I could do.

The drawing which you can buy to make this one is on my website, and there is also a breakdown video made by LBD.

Made out of mainly Yellow poplar, some Merbau, Oak and Beech.

The turret can rotate, the gun can be tilted and the tracks and wheels are moveable. In addition, the tank is equipped with a light spring suspension.

T(h)ank(s) for watching.

Oh my goodness! That's awesome. Lots of meticulous work there Dutchy! Beautiful work!!
Really excellent! I remember making mine from an Airfix kit around 65 years ago!  Happy memories.

Turned out great... You have managed what other model designers claimed "too difficult", Herr Rommel,

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Real nice.  I am patiently waiting for the stagecoach and the Corsair plans to come out.

Nice job Dutchy and well done to LBD as well. When I finish my current assignment I will have to give this one a go.
Thanks for sharing.
Great work!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

That's a very tidy Tiger even with Uncle Fester in control

After a weekend of out of the office 😉😊 I would like to thank you for the responses!

But I was NOT glad with my pictures on the Tiger LBD, and especially not when RobsCastle compared me to uncle Festor. In my experience that was a nasty comparison.

French Goat Toys I,m sorry but that's not in the cards for the time being.

If the Corsair is about a plane I first would make a Fokker.
A plan about a stagecoach you can find at:

Not nasty at all... Uncle Fester was my favorite family member,  he used to

light up my life.
I didn't like the hand (Thing) as he spoke too much.

Hell Dutchy, I look at that 1st picture and imagine the debate we had so long ago about this tank... I keep coming back here... you have done a brilliant job (and I'm not pissing in your pants) with the model.

C'mon you guys... forget I'm involved and give that Dutchman the kudos he deserves... hell, he designed it all from my druthers.

Can't thank you enough... (uncle)!

Would you believe the Adams family is back on TV 2024!
What a hoot!

John Astin played Gomez Addams on the show. A wealthy former lawyer and frequent cigar smoker who is fond of standing on his head, Gomez is known for being extremely horny for his wife, Morticia. He's the patriarch of the Addams clan, which includes Morticia (Carolyn Jones), their children Wednesday (Lisa Loring, who died last year) and Pugsley (Ken Weatherwax), and of course, Uncle Fester (Jackie Coogan) (side-note: in the popular "Addams Family" movies from the '90s, Fester is Gomez's brother, but in the original series, he's Morticia's uncle). The family also includes Lurch the butler (Ted Cassidy), Gomez's mother, Grandmama Addams (Blossom Rock) (she's Morticia's mother in the movies), and the disembodied hand Thing.

Believe it or not, Astin is the only cast member still with us, outliving all of his co-stars, even the actors who played his children. He's 93 as of this writing and retired. A prominent TV actor, Astin began his career in the theater. His big movie break came from a small role in the film adaptation of "West Side Story," but it's "The Addams Family" he's best known for.
