NEW Vintage tractor set (A original LEGO model 670)

My neighbors son is a LEGO enthusiast and collector. In the early years of LEGO Denmark, wooden toys were made. Just after the second world war, they had a tractor set among other things. My neighbors son has a tractor from around 1949 and I thought it would be a challenge to make a replica. In doing so, I had to make some concessions. In addition, I wanted to make as few changes to the original as possible. But for example, the wheel sizes and the mounting of the wheels are different from the original. For the tires I used modern LEGO versions. The silver print was another issue that was difficult to execute. Not 100% successful, but I am satisfied. It gives the new version a "classic touch".

The wood I used is mostly Beech.  Oak was used for the rims. The size of the total set is aboyt 30 cm.

That is super impressive Jan.
Who would have guessed Lego made great playable wooden toys all those years ago.
Just shows that good hand made wooden toys last 👍
