It seems that all we can buy now are Mega rolls of TP and they are too big for the old brackets in the bathroom here in Arizona. The roll will hardly turn when a new one is installed. I made some shims for the old chrome plastic ones and they looked too tacky!! So I made some new brackets that are 3/8" longer to the center and they work great. I used some 1 1/4" Willow Acacia and did a little shaping. They are finished with sating lacquer.
