Round Frame for another Diamond Dot Project

My wife finished another diamond dot project- A dragonfly- and needed a frame for it. She wanted a round one and wanted it in black...so I use some 3/4" Baltic birch plywood and cut it out on the lathe. It is 11" diameter and finished with satin black enamel. I mounted the picture on some clear acrylic sheet so it can be hung in a window for light to penetrate from the back.

Wow, that’s beautiful!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

I agree with RyanGi, beautiful for sure. The mounting, with clear acrylic, is a great idea to really show the beauty of the Diamond Dot art work.
Maybe you can edit this post by adding a picture with the sun light showing through.

Hi Tom here is a shot with the sun glare behind it. It is not too clear with the reflection off the neighbor's trailer.
