Natural Edge Frame for Austrlian Dot Paining

I made this frame from natural edge mesquite thinking it would be real fitting for this natural paining. I bought this painting from the artist, Audrey Nungarri, who painted it while sitting in the shade of a small tree in the Australian Outback North of Alice Springs in the Northwest Territory. It is called " Men Singing For Rain". It is done in all white dots on canvas. It is about 16" x16" and finished with clear satin lacquer.
These same paintings sold in gift shops are priced at 5X what she asked for it. I have a photo with her somewhere but I can't find it!

Nicely done. Gotta love that Mesquite, The art work and frame look good together...
The frame is a nice match with the artwork. You'll have to add a holder on the back for your photo with the artist.
Just right frame for this magnificant art work

Jim, I kept thinking I had seen this before. I paged back through your posts, and sure enough. I think this was back when you did the frame, at least it was the first time I saw this, It does have the pic with your Wife, and yourself with Audrey

Sounds like you are getting like me, can't remember what ya had for lunch, it's advantage is leftovers aren't as boring, and you can re-read a book, and be left hanging on every word. :-)
Wow, Thanks, George. I am getting old! Next year I will be a fossil. I don't know if there is way to delete it. I sure hate to duplicate a project. This time I could not find that photo with Audrey!
