Chess Box

A rare, purposed Box, made to contain my Old Chess Set...

In the bottom of the original cardboard box, I found the purchase receipt  for this set!

"Just for Fun", a search was done for current value of this 50 year old set...
Surprisingly, people are asking about $200.00 these days for a complete, intact set!

A decent old board is demanding close to another $200.00 nowadays...
Anyway, this set now includes it's own custom Box as well...
As per usual, a tape measure was not used in the building, but finished it comes in at 10 1/2" x 6  3/8" x 3 1/2"

Another fun and satisfying build...
Thanks for your time and interest! Comments, Questions, and/or Criticism are always welcome! :)

I like reading the story behind projects - much more interesting!
$10 was "premium" back in '74. I can see why you wanted to upgrade the set and keep it!
