I was cleaning out my wood storage room and discarded about 5 barrels of small pieces that I thought I'd need some day. I forgot about all of them but in the pile was this one Brazilian Rosewood block that would make 2 pens, I had sold all my rosewood stock because I was terribly allergic to it so I put on a respirator for the whole process of turning these pen parts.. These are just Slimline kits but I plan to make a fitting holder for them with maybe a business card holder in the center. I finished them by sanding to 400 ,coating with shellac, wet sanding to 3500 and then used EEE and Shellawax for the final finish. Cheers, Jim

Nice pens! I'm allergic like crazy to bloodwood. I've a lot of small pieces that I gave to Arlin Eastman for use with disabled vets. When I realized that the making of pens was too far back in the project queue, I sent all the kits and drill bits. Done.
Thanks, Steven, Ron, Larry, Ryan, Alex and Gunny!!!!!!!!
Hi Alex, I have a shoe box full of Slimline kits so you'll for sure see more in the future!! I could sent you a few to practice with and make them as big as cigars!! That would be a different look- like they are pregnant!!

Thanks for the offer JJ, but if we were playing poker I'd see your box and raise you one, and if you ante up, I'll throw in another box, I probably have more slimlines/streamlines than many kit suppliers.
When I think of slimlines, I feel that I'd rather sell my top end kits (rollerballs and fountains [marked with (F)]}, for the price of slimlines, if only I could find people in downtown Churchoill that can write.
