Whetstone storage

My dad started to enjoy sharpening so I made this whetstone storage as a gift.  It was a good project to use a lot of cut off pieces from the past projects, too.

After finishing this box, I felt the side pieces(that has a handle cut out) looked too thick so I made a big chamfer on it but it was a little uneven and I didn't have enough time to correct it as I had to put the finish or it wouldn't dry before putting it in my luggage to carry.

Anyways, overall, I'm happy with the end result.

BB1 Thank you! It could have been more simple but I enjoyed cutting the joints:)
Dutchy, thank you!
Pottz, Thank you!  The joints just happen to be clean this time. I often have a few mess up sections!

It’s the finest sharpening and storage station I’ve ever seen. Hope it looks that way after use. I wish I had someone who enjoyed sharpening my blades. 🙂

Great gift, even greater  storage.   Wonderful workmanship as usual.
The design is very appealing.   Well done.

James, Thank you. Yeah, knowing how my own storage got mud stains all over, it will get a little muddy but my dad's another hobby is cleaning, haha.
Ron, thank you! I tried to make it look nice because I enjoy posting my products online as you know :) It's always fun to spend time on designing a new project!
