How I Make The Small Corbels At The Top Or My Medicine Cabinets

Here I’m resawing a piece of quarter sawn white 4-1/2” x 4-1/2” down to a thickness of approximately 5/8”.

The finished size of the corbels are
approximately 2-1/4” x 2-1/4”. All that’s left to do is to sand them and attach them to the piece.

Thanks for taking time away from your important matters to look at my corbels.
Comments are always appreciated.

Yup. Thanks Steve R. Then I have to cut 4 more since I use 5 on my projects. For the next one I have 3 to start with and the next I cut 4 and have 2 left over and the next one….

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

The Other Steven

Thanks Dark_Lightning. It’s a great wood species for Arts and Crafts- Mission periods.

Nice tip good idea. I'll probably forget that though when I would have to make them

Cool cowbells, but a distant cousin informs me Daisy isn't over keen,

and recently seen hobbling away, muttering "go and milk your bloody almonds".

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
