Scoop from Scraps

Someone lost the coffee scoop in the clubhouse so I made a wooden one to replace it. I did not have one block of mesquite large enough to include the handle and the two spigots so I laminated it up from scraps  in my wood cabinet. The cup is 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" and the handle is 2" long. It is finishes with Danish oil and buffed and waxed. This is the last project of the year.
Happy New Year to you all  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So when you made it, did you increase the size so you get stronger coffee as a reward?

Nice work!

May you have the day you deserve!

I was thinking the same thing.  The new handmade scoop may be "lost" soon as well.  😄
Nicely done Jim....Love the glue up with great results!

Thank you all for the nice comments.
Hi Dave , I made the volume the same size as the one I use here at home. It is just right for the amount of water used.
Hi DarkLightning. It may grow legs when I leave here. I'm in there every day to keep an eye on it for 3 more months. If it gone by next year, I'll make another one!!
Cheers, Jim
