Lidded Candy Dish

I made this dish for the wife of the guy who gave me the eucalyptus logs. I tried to make the lid from eucalyptus but it was so cracked in the center that it looked really bad...so I made the lid from pecan. I added a tiger eye cab. in the center of the lid to dress it up a bit. It is finished with EEE and Shellawax!

Thank you all for the nice comments. She now has a big collection of products I made for her over the years. My buddy had to make a new shelf for all of them!!! We have one last log that we will try to turn int flat stock on the band saw.
