The beauty of a strong playable wooden toy truck, it’s repairable.
I made this wooden toy truck 7yrs ago for my youngest daughter’s first born son.

It has very special significance as he was born with a major heart defect but tomorrow he turns 8 yrs old.

His name is Asher, “God’s Blessing” and he truly is!

And here's the original finished truck

This is too cool! I wish my sons would spawn.

Wonderful truck!   Great reason to have made it!

Ron

Great gift! Looks like many miles of fun, and now more miles ahead. Happy birthday to Asher.
Obviously not a Rockwell Axle

After closer investigation its lucky a roll over didn't occur
And BTW I may have to write you up for no seat belts

Regards Rob

Celebrating birthday number 8 is great, take care of him grandpa and teach him woodworking.  He'll make a wonderful shop apprentice.
Looks like the truck had a successful trip to crowie's repair shop! Happy birthday to Asher.
If you can make it, you can fix it. Was it under warranty?

BTW: Is it a genuine PETERBILT? 😊 Or is it a PETER BUILT?

Thank you ladies and gents for the support....
Dutchy; absolutely it's under a lifetime warranty sir....

Rob; the older trucks never had seatbelts so that's put that issue to bed....

The axle peg replacement only took 15mins and 5mins of that was finding the washers!

Ooo...Smurfs will fix this in a minute...
