Some might think I only make models, but every now and then I also make a piece of furniture. This TV cabinet is mounted "floating" and is approximately 3 meters long, 40 cm deep, and 30 cm high. It has two drawers and one swing door. The inner cabinets/units are made of pine, and the top is oak. The oak is 4 cm thick and comes from a dining table I bought at a recycling center. The surface is treated with Osmo. The drawers are push-to-open and push-to-close, made by BLUM (the most expensive part of the cabinet). Because of the 120 cm width, they are equipped with a stabilizer and are electrically operated. That's a real luxury, but from experience, I know that a combination of soft-open and soft-close non electric mechanisms can sometimes falter. A color-adjustable LED strip is mounted in the top and on the underside of the stand. The floating installation was quite a job, because a small part of the wall is made of plasterboard.
The tulips are indeed from china LBD. That's how it goes these days.
Yes there is quite a weight hanging on the wall.
awesome setup dutch, very sleek clean modern design. well done.
Thanks Pottz.
Well, sentences without capital letters make it harder for me to read (Realize English isn't my first language), but I can live with that. However, I don't understand why you always use dutch when it's actually Dutchy.

Sorry dutch... Talán neked jobban tetszik magyarul (in het Hongaars).
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Nice cabinet, I like the modern look. Any issues with the case sagging in the center? I built a 6 foot long table that is 1 inch thick mahogany that is supported at the ends and it has some sagging.
