Casket, coffin, call it what you like. I prefer the term coffin but technically this is a casket. Just a few photos of the latest pine casket I’ve come up with a customer who happens to be planning ahead. More photos of the build process are on my site blog – http://www.victorycoffin.com/blog

Thanks Jim. The handles are mounted simply with screws from the inside and glue on the outside.

Thanks for the comments. James, no interior at this point since it’s going into storage. Eventually there will be bedding of some type on the bottom only. When my time comes I’ll use nothing but shavings from the shop :)

This is simply beautiful. Is it possible to purchase the plans to make this? My husband is dying from pancreatic cancer and I wanted to build this for him. One last tribute to an amazing man.
