My wife was using the kitchen island for a sewing table, so I built this table the same size. Just bought 1500 bd ft of cherry and oak from a local saw mill for $1k. The table is mostly cherry with oak panels. 36" tall x 7’ long x 26" wide. No stain, 3 coats of laquer. Just got a Powermatic 81 and rebuilt it. Had to use it on something. Panels are resawn and matched.

I’m sure your wife is delighted with the lovely sewing table. I’ve have one on my to-do list for a long time but I just keep using the dining room table.
