I haven’t posted here for a long time so given the new set up and how easy it is to post projects of various crafts, I’m very happy to be on board again.
This was a fun project for me. It started off by an idea i had to display my father’s Irish Dance medals and incorporate our family Coat of Arms. I had cut out several veneers to try out different types of wood. I picked the look I wanted for the display and then having lots of pieces left over I made two boxes rather than waste my cutouts. i scroll sawed the decorations on the side of one of the boxes (courtesy of Sheila Landry Designs).

Anna,
What a great way to honor your father’s accomplishments! And the boxes were a great way to use up the leftover pieces. Thanks for sharing.
