My great niece asked me to make a pendant for her friend for her birthday. She wanted it in the shape of a friendship rune that she had seen on their favourite TV show. Well, what’s a gift without a gift box?

I made two pendants an boxes, one for my great niece and one for her friend. They loved them and the gift boxes were well received bonuses. The boxes are made from mahogany and maple and based on Sheila Landry’s pattern http://www.sheilalandrydesigns.com/product/SLD223

The pendants are precious on their own but the boxes?!!! Treasures for life, I am sure.

The pendants were about 2 1/2" in length and the boxes 5×5″ .
