Plaid In B&W

I made this crocheted throw several years ago and it is one of my favourites: partly because of the b/w design but mostly because of how easy it was to do.

If you take a close look at the pattern, you can see the gaps that are created and then long strands of yarn are woven through the gaps creating the plaid effect and the tassels at the ends.
