Weekend Wonder: Granny Square

At some point, I really want to do a “Log Cabin” afghan and when I saw this Granny Square, well, what a perfect opportunity to test the water!

So here is my Granny Square for the “Weekend Wonders” Challenge.

The first picture is 4", as per the challenge and the 2nd pix is the finished square. A smaller hook or finer yarn would have kept me within the 4" limit for the entire thing. (or tighter tension)
And the 3rd pix, is just rotated.
