… as soon as I typed the title here I thought, "I SHOULD have made coloured leaves for the button holes instead of flowers!!!
Next time :)
My blog: http://crochet.community/blog_series/22-the-scarf
Yarn: Bernat Colorama (2 balls of 52 yds; 100% acrylic) #05480 Canyon Clay
Crochet Hook: 10mm
Embellishment: vintage buttons
The Pattern
For the scarf, I made a chain long enough to wrap around my neck and criss-cross in a “v”.
First row: triple crochets across
Second row: double crochets across
Next 3 rows: single crochets across
Row 6: double crochets across
Row 7: triple crochets across
I criss-crossed the ends and attached the buttons, holding the “v” in place.
I created three “flowers”, using the magic ring and keeping it large enough to work as a button hole.
I attached the flowers, matching the location to the corresponding buttons.
And I celebrated being finished!!
But so many ideas that I found on my search … so many more scarves to make!
